It's weird. I think it has no place on a date. If you are tentatively trying to build a relationship with someone, why must you bring up people from your past?
I agree, I think. Except for the funny dating stories, I have tried to minimize my time talking about other girls I've dated. It can be hard though. "Learning to say nothing."
I had a date once where this girl did nothing but talk about previous dates and ask me about mine. I actually asked her if she thought it was appropriate and he looked at me like I was nuts.
Hm. I think some valuable information can be learned about a girl from what she considers a crazy dating story, but as Altie put it, dating should be about moving forward, not looking back.
